Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. Markus Kummer is a graduate of TU Graz (Industrial Engineering – Civil Engineering). Since 2011, he has been involved in the preparation of construction reports focusing on construction management and construction economics as part of his independent work. Additionally, since 2013, he has been a research associate, and since 2016, a lecturer at TU Graz at the Institute for Construction Management and Construction Economics.
In his dissertation titled "Aggregated Consideration of Productivity Losses in the Determination of Construction Costs and Durations," he explored nonlinearities and uncertainties in the determination of construction costs and durations, delving into the field of opportunity-risk management.
