Christian Hofstadler has been the director of the Institute and a university professor for construction management at TU Darmstadt since October 2024. Prior to this, he served as an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Graz, where he led the Institute for Construction Management and Construction Economics for several years. His long-standing commitment is characterized by promoting sustainable and innovative knowledge transfer, as well as a strong connection between theory and practice. Additionally, Christian Hofstadler applies his expertise as a specialist in national and international committees and as a court-appointed expert for construction operational and economic issues.
